This film fallows a group of supernatural hunters into the mysterious neck of the woods, to find an older man in morning over his lost family members. When the team finds out that his wife and son did not in fact leave him, but something else is at play. They realize that it's too late to leave and have no choice but to go into the woods.

The most unique element of our horror film is that the characters are all grounded. With only 5 of them to possibly kill off, they remain resourceful and relatable. As such, the story takes different turns in its witty script to keep stakes high.

It's always the nicest dudes making the goriest slashers.
Before being known as "The Blood Guy" across all the Pacific Northwest, Brandon Hartsock came up a homeschool boy in the Tulalip reservation of Washington state. He had little else to do those days other than watch movies like "Scream" and "The Thing" while diving deep into the eerie mysticism of the surrounding woodlands. Now he's all grown up, built like a Viking raider, and ready to make you scream for your life when he's done hanging with the bros.
About 15 short films have seen Brandon as a director, whereas he mastered the 1980s practical effects that inspired him. Which has put him in high demand! He has a portfolio of over 20 music videos for local Rock bands needing that metallic edge, and also commandeers a podcast called "The Fictitious Dark" where he continuously finds the truth behind the world's most macabre legends.
Few filmmakers have as much fun on the job as Mr. Hartsock. In seeing the light in all things, he prioritizes the THRILL in scary things... not the trauma.
It takes a special kind of person to make a layman find entertainment in the sight of innocent women having their heads pressed until bursting like peaches, 357 caliber slugs popping livestreamers like ketchup packets, or demonic trees ripping paranormal investigators into longpig lasagna... but Mr. Hartsock is that guy. The curious, sick, all-too-human freak in all of us that's looking for a good bit of fun.
